At the competition held in New York, students competed in five categories, namely Science, Writing, Business, Arts and Music. More than 600 projects from 79 countries, including BiH, participated.

On June 7, Haris Brkić, coming from a small town Lukavac in BiH, became one of the few citizens of our country to graduate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
